Who we are
Founder-led practice
PMP® · Chartered Engineer · 19+ yearsJOECHAND was founded in Visakhapatnam in 2013 as a construction support business, taking residential, institutional and solar lighting projects from design and estimates through to handover. Today it is an independent practice open to owners, PMC firms and contractors worldwide, and you contract with our founder directly.
Our founder's career began in May 2007. The roles since then: civil engineer, planning and costing manager, team leader for planning and project control on more than 500 U.S. federal and military-base projects, project manager on an industrial plant expansion, and planning and project controls manager across 2 GW of utility-scale solar PV and 500 MWh of battery storage. Completed plants reached commercial operation on or ahead of schedule.
We build the schedules, cost models and dashboards that owners, lenders and site teams work from, for clients who need the work done well without adding a full-time hire.
Our founder's name, certificates and membership numbers are shared on request once an NDA is in place, so you can check them with PMI and the Institution of Engineers (India) before you sign.

How fees work
Three ways to work with us. Prices, or how each service is quoted, are on each service page: Energy PMC, General Contractors and Design & Engineering.
A monthly function
Monthly project controls, PMC reporting or remote site monitoring, run as part of your team.
Events as they happen
Time impact analysis, extension-of-time submissions and support when a delay or claim comes up.
Fee basisFixed fee per deliverable or a monthly retainer. Claims and site support can also run on a day rate, confirmed in the proposal. Remote site monitoring is a monthly retainer; bid packages and design drawings are quoted per package. Projects in India are quoted in INR.
PaymentFixed fees: 50% to start, 50% on delivery. Retainers are billed monthly in advance.
Who you contract withOur founder directly, as an independent consultant trading as JOECHAND. Each proposal confirms dates and any conflict of interest in writing. Invoices in USD (INR in India), by bank transfer.

Who does the work?
Our founder, a PMP-certified Chartered Engineer with 19+ years in energy and construction, leads every engagement and checks every deliverable before it reaches you. Parts of the work may be done by specialists we engage, under the same NDA.
Who do we sign the contract with?
JOECHAND is the trading name of our founder's independent practice, founded in Visakhapatnam in 2013. You contract with our founder directly, and each proposal confirms dates and any conflict of interest in writing.
How do you invoice?
In USD, or INR for projects in India, paid by bank transfer. Fixed fees are 50% to start and 50% on delivery; retainers are billed monthly in advance.
How is our information protected?
We sign your NDA before you send anything, and anyone we engage on your work signs the same terms. Your files are returned or deleted when the work closes.
Can we see the founder's full profile?
Yes. Our founder's name, full CV, certificates and membership numbers are shared on request once an NDA is in place, so you can verify them before you sign.
Which time zone do you work in?
GMT+4, with video calls by appointment in your time zone.
Can you work alongside our own planners?
Yes. We can lead the function, review your planners' schedules, or train your team in Primavera P6. Our founder has trained planning teams and written project controls procedures and planning standards.
Can we start with a small piece of work?
Yes. A schedule health check (from USD 750) or a single bid package is a good first piece of work before a monthly function.
